How is the Course?

PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is all about understanding the practical aspects of PRINCE2, especially related to tailoring it and using it in different types of projects. However, unfortunately, most courses are only about learning how to pass the exam, without adding much value; boring and disappointing!

We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about a different way of forming this course that can be pleasant and informative, in addition to ensuring that you will be able to pass the exam. The result is a very unique course that has had the highest acceptance in our trials; here’s a sample of a test recording:

The course covers about 450 scenario-based questions categorized in 15 groups. Each question is covered through a discussion between the two authors of the course, Frank Turley, and Nader K. Rad.

Course Format

The course is consisted of multiple lessons. We keep the lessons short (10 to 20 minutes) to make it easier for busy professionals to take it.

At the end of the course, you will have access to sample exams for more preparation.
This course is everything you need to learn the topic and prepare for your exam.

Management Plaza is an accredited training organization by AXELOS (the owner of PRINCE2), APMG, and PeopleCert. The course will be officially approved by them.

Management Plaza is also a PMI R.E.P. and you can get official PDUs for completing the course.

You need to have at least ONE of the following certificates to be eligible for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam:

  • PRINCE2® Foundation
  • PMP
  • CAPM
  • IPMA-A
  • IPMA-B
  • IPMA-C
  • IPMA-D

So, it’s not necessary to have the Foundation certificate if you have one of the other certificates listed above. However, you still need to have the basic knowledge of PRINCE2 (the Foundation level) before taking this Practitioner course. In that case, we highly recommend you take the PRINCE2 Foundation 2017 Edition eLearning Course first.

The Official Exam and Certificate

The official exam is online and you can take it anywhere in the world, from home or office. You can purchase the exam voucher here:

I really, really enjoyed this course! It is well made, good structured and the PRINCE2 stuff is presented in an entertaining manner with lots of real life examples and additional information. What I found very useful was the option to switch between the extended and standard version of the videos per lesson. I used to watch the extended versions, but I ran a little bit out of time towards the exam and switching to the standard versions was a huge timesaver.

I used this course in conjunction with the Foundation Online Course in order to update my PRINCE2:2009 knowledge and just passed the Practitioner:2017 exam. The exam contains a few tricky questions, so be prepared to use the PRINCE2 Manual a lot during the exam. Thus, if Frank advises to stop the video during the lessons to look something up in the Manual you should follow his advice. It is really essential for the exam to be able to find something quickly in the Manual.

Thank you Frank and Nader for putting this course together

Excellent course! I watched 3-4 videos every day (it took me less than 3 weeks), passed the exam and got it with 81%.
I’m very happy for having chosen this option to study Prince2 Practitioner.

Great course and extended content option fantastic.

Just passed with 74% after using this course as primary study material.

    Thank you Frank and Nader

    • Frank Turley

Well done Anthony and 75% is a good score as 66% is a good score. So well done.

Hi Frank and Nader, this is already the second course that I have purchased through your website and I must say you did do a great job again!

I can attest and confirm that:
    – All of the Prince2 processes, principles and themes are well explained from a practical point of view in the instructional videos.
    – The sample exams also make sure that you are well prepared for the exam, but I must say that the Prince2 Practitioner exam was really difficult and (in comparison with foundation exam), and took 180 minutes to complete.

Best of luck with your program!

P.S. I am planning to purchase in the near future the Prince2 Agile PM course (and certification).

    Kind regards,

    Bart Popelier

Hi Bart, thanks for the feedback and I agree with your comments about the Practitioner Exam. The majority of classroom courses for the Practitioner exam just focus on practicing the two AXELOS exam papers which of course is useless.

I would like to Thank Nader and Frank again, I have passed my Practitioner exam, However i need a little guidance, Kindly answer the below queries.

    1) My score in foundation was 90% and in practitioner 65%, if i want to become a Prince2 trainer is this enough? I want to teach what i have learned from you in my home country Pakistan.

2)I didn’t get the certificate of completion, when i asked the customer support they told me that there is no certificate of completion for this course. Can you please send me the course completion certificate as it is stated in the product description?

3)Can we have coffee together if i ever visited Belgium?:‑)

    • Frank Turley

      Hi Omer
Thanks for the feedback and good score.
      1) I think you needed 66% to become a PRINCE2 trainer but I will check this and get back to you
      2) Cert of completion: I will ask Jannah and Isaira to take care of this
      3) Coffee in Belgium: Sure, that would be great.
See my email in 10 minutes

    Hi Frank and Nader,

Greetings from Australia. I was first very skeptical about the materials you published but thankfully the free access convinced me to proceed. For this I am very thankful because through the videos you guys made the knowledge even more applicable to real life scenarios and allowing me to further grasp and comprehend the methodology. Even though the exam was though I managed to pass it. I am now able to apply what I learn to my work. Thank you for creating this material and do not stop what you guys are doing! I will definitely recommend this to my friends. On a side note, you may want to correct some spelling mistakes in the videos :) It is now time for coffee :)

Just passed with a score higher than I had anticipated. The actual exam questions were harder and worded differently to those in the simulated exam but I passed all the same. Thanks

Great course for distance learning and/or anyone wanting to progress to Practitioner after doing foundation. The style is interactive and not boring, also the material is in-depth. I felt much more confident undertaking the exam as opposed to doing my own reading and study. Worth the investment. Thanks Frank and Nader for producing this :)

Very refreshing course. I’d done my Foundation exam last year. Frank and Nader did a good job of discussing the various aspects of PRINCE2, without making it boring. This was a good way to get back into the topic, while the scenario-based approach made sure to keep me engaged and thinking.

Very refreshing and engaging format. Glad I bought the course, but what was equally good was the exam process I bought via mplaza. It was with an online proctor, and the whole process was so slick. Though I found the exam very challenging, I don’t think I would have passed without the help of Frank and Nader – great work!

I like the approach used in this PRINCE2 Practitioner course. It allows one to be engaged and think critically.
I finished the entire course and i started practicing the mock exams. While completing the answers i could hear Nader and Frank debating :-).

I find the PRINCE2 2017 edition fun and easier to apply compared to 2009 edition.

I have passed the PRINCE2 Foundation 2017 2 days ago with the help of your online course. I really appreciate that course style, it was fantastic

I want to take advance level certification with you next.

What do you suggest? PRINCE2 Agile or PRINCE2 Practitioner?
    – As I can see from your web information PRINCE2 Agile can give 18 PMI PDUs.
    – Does PRINCE2 Practitioner give any PMI PDU?

    • Frank Turley

      Hi Wajib

I would suggest PRINCE2 Practitioner and you can then use PRINCE2 in projects.
If you are interested in Agile, then I would suggest you consider AgilePM or Scrum
      – Let me know if you need more information on this (
      – We can talk over Skype as I can get a better idea if your requirements

      PDU’s for PRINCE2 Practitioner:
      – This will same or more PDU’s than PRINCE2 Agile
      – I will update this later Today

      Regards, Frank

This is an excellent course and I am very glad that i purchased it.
This style of e-learning (Nader and Frank discussing each scenario) is extremely helpful and a great preparattion for the exam.
The course consists of scenarios, discussions, flashes and the extended learning) and is great value for learning and money.
I have checked out other courses but they are bland and off little added value.

I have choosen to follow the extended version.

Thanks Mplaza for this brilliant course and thanks for two extra practice Practitioner Exams
